Wednesday, 15 November 2023
Staff, students and their families, many of whom are serving in the Armed Forces, joined together on Sunday 12th November for the Gordon’s Parade and Service of Remembrance for the sacrifices of so many including the 155 former students killed in action during the First World War; 31 in the Second World War and those in more recent conflicts.

Wreaths were laid on behalf of students and staff, governors and trustees and the Gordonians. The Reverend Graham Wright, conducting the Service said: “The way of life we enjoy is in no small measure, the result of the sacrifices of young people, who saw the bigger picture and were willing to put others before themselves”.

Gordonian Lizzie Mosdell 11645 (2018) laid a wreath on behalf of Gordonians during the Parade. Lizzie is now also a staff member, having returned to Gordon's in September as Teacher of P.E.
