Annual Parade and Gordonian Memorial Service 2023

It was wonderful to welcome so many Gordonians to School on Saturday 1st July. We began the day with refreshments in the Library and then followed the Gordonian Memorial Service where we remembered all the Gordonians who we lost in the last year. Special tributes were made to Steve Monk, Patrick and Pauline Quigley and Steve Davies 7930 (1980). Keith Nicholls 7462 (1974) played a bagpipe solo 'Hector the Hero'. Gordonians then headed to the front field to catch up with old and new friends before the Parade at 2pm. Drummers beating was particularly impressive at over 5 minutes with many Gordonians remembering playing it themselves when at Gordon's. Thank you to all those that came on Saturday and made it a brilliant reunion. We look forward to welcoming you to many more! |
